About Viz-A-Thon 3.0
Vizathon, a three-hour offline hackathon, tasks participants with cleaning and analyzing provided datasets using tools like Tableau and Power BI. The challenge lies in crafting insightful visualizations from cleaned data. With a prize pool exceeding 60k rupees, participants clean, analyze, and present their findings in visually compelling dashboards to a panel of judges. Judging criteria encompass data preparation, analysis depth, visualization design, presentation, and tool proficiency. This event not only fosters skill development in data handling but also offers networking, recognition, and career advancement opportunities. Vizathon is the ultimate platform where data prowess meets creativity in a high-stakes, high-reward competition.

Rules
- There will be 2 rounds of the competition: an offline coding round followed by a presentation round.
- Teams shortlisted from the first round must present their solutions to a panel of judges.
- Only Undergraduate students are eligible to participate.
- Team size should be 3-4 members strictly.
- It is mandatory for the team leader to have a Twitter/LinkedIn account.

Do we need a team or can we participate individually?
Its a team event. You can form a team with 3-4 members in it at maximum. Individual participation isn't allowed.
Is there any specific theme or dataset we should expect?
The event will provide diverse datasets across different domains. No specific theme will be assigned—participants can expect a variety of datasets.
How are the winners selected?
Winners will be chosen based on criteria such as data cleaning proficiency, depth of analysis, visualization creativity, presentation skills, and tool utilization.
